National Park of

The Niokolo-Koba National Park is a treasure still preserved from mass tourism. Created in 1954, the reserve is located 650 km east of Dakar, in the Tambacounda region.

A treasure listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

With nearly one million hectares of incredibly rich nature, Niokolo-Koba Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It presents a diversity of landscapes: gallery forests, large humid plains, humid plains, wooded savannah, rocky hills, steep shores, giant bamboo groves and dense forests as far as the eye can see.

At its heart flow several rivers, including the mythical Gambia River, offering this unique environment an abundance of life.
